This listing is for a souvenir brochure from the “Little White House” in Warm Springs, Georgia. President Franklin D. Roosevelt built the house in 1932 when he was Governor of New York. Roosevelt first visited Warm Springs in 1924 while trying to find a cure for the polio that struck him years earlier.  Roosevelt did not find a cure for his polio, but he did spend time at the “Little White House” during the Great Depression and this is where he developed many of the New Deal programs that he put into place during his presidency.

This brochure features many photos of the “Little White House” along with historical information and maps. Cover is in green and white, inside text and photos are black and white, 18 pages. In good condition showing light wear, stains and discoloration. Measures 8 1/4″ x 5 1/8″.
