Description
There is some visible dust and white speckling on the image., The brass show moderate patina and bending. Old sealing tape in place, I did not open the preserver to inspect any further. Half case is worn.

I am pleased to offer this Antique 1/6 Plate Daguerreotype Photograph of an Old Woman!
That’s interesting to note about this image is that the mat is on the exterior, with either a very thick piece or double cover glass above the image…adding an extra depth when viewing.
The sealing tape is quite old, and I did not open the preserver any further as to not disturb it.
Photo is approx. 1/6 plate, 23/4″ x 3-1/4″…note 1/4″ thick including preserver
Case measures approx. 3-5/8″ H x 3-1/4″ W
