Atq Industrial Revolution American Jingoistic Folk Art Cane w/ Stag Horn Handle

I am pleased to offer this Antique Industrial Revolution era American Jingoistic Folk Art Cane!  This cane has a rich knotted wood shaft that tapers gently down into a brass & iron ferrule.

The top half of the cane is covered in Jingoistic carvings: American sword/shield crest, landmarks, Industry marks like a wheat bale/bee hive/plow.
There are also phrases like “By Industry we Thrive”, “My Country Right or Wrong”, “Don’t Give Up the Ship” and “Rupp Balt”.

The Handle is a carved piece of stag horn with a crown top, and is fixed to the shaft via a thin brass collar.

This antique cane is in good condition for its age.  There is some mild scratching to the shaft and handle. The ferrule shows moderate wear and oxidation, and the collar shows patina and mild scratching.  The cane remains sturdy, and displays wonderfully.

Measures approx. 34-3/4″ L
