Antique 19th Century Hand Carved Folk Art Wood Cane Glass Eyed Lion 33.5″ L

I am pleased to offer this Antique late 19th Century Hand Carved Folk Art Wood Cane!  This beautiful wood cane is  light in color, and has multiple knots down along the shaft. The handle features a well carved climbing lion, which is fitted with glass eyes.  The shaft tapers slightly as it moves downwards, and is capped at the end with a metal ferrule.

This antique cane is in fair condition for its age.  There is moderate scratching to the wood down the shaft, and light scratching to the lion handle.  There are a few small chips to the lion’s face.  There are a coupl3 of Large cracks in the wood down the shaft,  so it is advised this piece is for Display and not use (unless repaired).
