I am pleased to offer this Vintage SSS Shioji Tin Friction S.I.E. Piggyback Tractor Trailer Truck!
This great little truck has a small container behind the cab the features an opening door, and an attachable large trailer container that also has an opening rear door.
The letters “S.I.E” are on each side of the rear trailer, and the cab has “SSS” tin emblems on each door.
The truck has 10 tires, 9 of which are original rubber (one wheel is a plastic replacement).
The front wheels are attached to a friction motor. Both pieces have the SSS trademark on the underside above “Japan”.

This Shioji Tractor Trailer is in good condition, showing some mild scratching to the paint from age. The rubber wheels show moderate cracking, however the truck rolls well when pushed. The friction motor is working, and when pushed it can be heard; however when pushed it does not move the truck very far on its own. There are a few bent tabs on the underside of the front section.
