This is a very nice example of an advertising collectible! Vintage “Kemper Thomas” brand Pearlized Plastic Mechanical Pencil. Pencil is a nice yellow pearlized plastic with gold colored metal clip and tip.
Advertising says “Knouse Painting and Contracting Co., C Gilmer Knouse, 836 S Broad St, Winston Salem NC, Dial Day 3-1760, Night 2-0969” Says “Kemper Thomas Co, Cincinnati” on the clip.
In good condition, could use a cleaning, feels like there is price tag residue on pencil. Metal shows some discoloration.Measures 5″ long from end to end.
