Vintage German Organ Grinder Climbing Monkey Tin Toy

I am offering a Vintage Tin Monkey That Climbs A String.  This monkey does not have any Maker’s Marks but it has the same textured green paint on his jacket like the Lehmann version.  It’s paint is also similar to the German style and his tin is bright and shiny where the paint is worn.

This toy monkey is in good condition with bright paint and litho showing some light paint loss and play wear.  Only a piece of his string is intact coming out of his chest and his tail is missing. With the string missing I have not been able to test the monkey’s mechanical function.

Measures 5″ long with legs and arms tucked in.
