I am pleased to offer this Vintage Arnold Tin Windup Sparking Motorcycle Toy! This motorcycle is the orange variation, and is constructed of brightly lithographed tin. There is a wind up mechanism that powers the rear wheel and sparking headlight, and it has a fixed wind key. When wound the motorcycle will quickly drive forwards in a circle. The bike is marked with the Arnold trademark, as well as “A643” license plate and “Union Cord” on the tires.
This vintage motorcycle is in good condition, showing some moderate scratching to the driver and the body. There is some light oxidation visible oxidation on the headlight, helmet, tail, and areas of paint wear. The headlight is missing the original read cover, but a clear plastic one is included.
The wind up is in good working condition. The gears a a bit worn, but when fully wound it functions as intended. The motorcycle will quickly drive forwards, occasionally turning. The right-side small wheel is a little loose, and catches sometimes while moving. The headlight sparks a small amount, but is pretty worn and a new flint would be recommended.
