I am pleased to offer this Antique Chein Happy Hooligan Mechanical Wind-Up Litho Tin Toy that walks back and forth. Marked J. CHEIN & CO. MADE IN USA; c.1930’s.
Comes with a built-in key winding mechanism.
Measurements: approx. 6″ inches in height x 3″ inches wide.
Tested and keys winds well, as he walks in a rapid rattle around flat surfaces when released. Visible wear on paint from use throughout; most visible on the back of his elbow, arm and neck. Stands and moves well. Nice color throughout. Good overall aged condition!
