Rare Beautiful Antique 1800s Japanese Meiji Leather 2-Pocket Tobacco Pouch

I am pleased to offer this Beautiful Antique Japanese Meiji Period 2-Pocket Leather Tobacco Pouch! This pouch was skillfully crafted from leather, and has an amazing colored green dragon worked into the leather. There ouch has a metal dragon menuki snap, and two interior pockets. The pouch is attached to a series of small chains that lead to a celluloid netsuke (missing it’s original insert.)
This antique Japanese tobacco pouch is in very good condition for its age. The leather shows some light rubbing and wear to the exterior, however the original color remains rich. The interior is clean, and shows some very light wear to the leather from use. The chain is slightly loose near where it attaches to the netsuke (see photos)
Pouch measures approx. 5-1/2″ W x 3-5/8″ H
