Interesting Vintage Japanese Pillow

Lacquered red Leather with calligraphy on both sides and end caps

Very stiff, as the interior is mostly wood with some thin stuffing material.

Description

Moderate wear to the leather from age and use. Artwork is mostly lost on both sides , but partial segments remain along with some original calligraphy signatures. Ends show some wear along the seams, and one side is largely detached exposing the inner wood and plant stuffing. Unusual piece that is nice for display.
