Hubley

Hubley Manufacturing Company

Founded in 1894 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Most all of Hubley’s first toys were made of cast iron.  Some of the earliest models included horse drawn wagons and a variety of toy guns.

Hubley toys generally followed the changing transportation modes and produced models that depicted the cars, trucks, motorcycles, and other vehicles of the time.  Hubley toys were well hand painted.

While Hubley may be best known for toys, the company also produced many doorstops, mechanical and still banks, cast iron bookends and other interesting products.
