Antique Kastor A.W. Wadsworth & Sons Austria Folding Deer Foot Hunting Knife 10″

Good overall condition for its age. The blade shows moderate pitting, some typical darkening, and a couple of tiny nicks to the blade. The Ricasso marks are slightly obscured, but can be made out. The Deer Foot grip shows some moderate loss to the original hair, and a mild crack on one side. It is slightly loose from the case. The Blade snaps into place well, and has a stiff joint.

I am offering an antique AW Wadsworth & Sons folding Deer Foot knife from c. 1905-1936.  When open, it measures 10″ Total Length

4-5/8″ clip point blade

Ricasso Stamped “AW Wadsworth & Sons Austria” and the other side is marked with Kastor XLNT Trademark.

The handle in atypical and interesting, as the grip was made of a real deer’s foot.  Nice German silver guard and pommel.
