Overall Fair condition for its age. The blade shows moderate wear, with heavy pitting and oxidation and dark spotting. The edge shows numerous nicks and sharpening marks. The guard is loose and has a lot of movement, and shows heavy tarnish from age. The stag grips show a few small cracks along the edges (see photos)The partial leather sheath is missing the end, and shows heavy wear to the remaining fragile leather. The piece has a lot of character, and makes for a wonderful display item!
