  • Awesome c.1915 Schoenhut’s Naval War Toy!
  • Wood toy set consisting of a submarine and Dreadnought
  • Dreadnought has an interior spring-loaded trap, similar to a mouse trap, attached to a target trigger on the side of the ship.
  • Submarine has a small spring-loaded wooded torpedo, which is used to trigger the trap, causing the dreadnought to “explode”
  • Comes complete in original box.  Box has great artwork on the lid, and the instructions on the underside.
  • Dreadnought measures approx. 10-3/4″ Long
  • Nice addition to any collection!

Description

Good overall aged condition. Wood pieces show some moderate scratching and some loss to the original gray paint from age/play. Metal pieces show moderate oxidation from age. Tested an functioning great, a lot of fun! Original box shows some heavy wear, but remains largely intact and displays well with the toy.
