Antique 1930’s Marx Tin Lithograph Roadside Rest Service Station No Reserve

I am pleased to offer a vintage Marx Roadside Rest Service Station toy.  The base of this piece measures 13-1/2″ W X 10″ Deep.  Attached to the base are a lunch counter, two gas pumps, air station, a lift, fixed motor oil cans, a separate oil can, and a rolling motor oil cart.  Fun lithograph detailing throughout with price on gas pumps marked at 17 cents.  Marx logo in multiple areas.  One “D” battery (not included) fits in section on back side to light up pumps and light under lift.

This piece is in good condition considering age.  There are scratches and dings throughout but the coloring is still bright and clear.  Glass “GAS” light bulbs free of cracks but do show wear to the print.  Unfinished metal areas show darkening and some oxidation.  Lift moves up and down properly.  Lights do not function with battery but original wiring is still present. This fun vintage piece would make a nice addition to any collection.
