Antique 1/4 Plate Daguerreotype Photo Old Grumpy Woman in Bonnet w/ Half Case

I am pleased to offer this Antique 1/4 Plate Daguerreotype Photograph of an Old Grumpy Woman!  This old woman has a hand-tinted face, and does not look content with her day.  The photograph comes in its brass mat, and half leather case.

This antique daguerreotype is in good condition for its age, showing some light dust and very light scuffing from age. Sealed with old tape. Tiny chip on the top edge of the glass. The half case shows moderate wear from storage.

Photo is approx. 1/4 plate; half case measures approx. 4-1/2″ H x 3-3/4″ W
