Description
Medal is in good condition for its age. The face of the medal shows some dark tarnishing to the sterling, and some mild scratching. The ribbon show some very light fraying near the pin, and the back shows some mild scratching as well.

I am pleased to offer this Vintage 1928 Argyle Lodge No.65 Sterling Silver and Enamel 50th Anniversary Medal!
This beautiful medal celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Masonic lodge, and reads: “50th Anniversary 1878-1928; Argyle Lodge No.65 A.F. & A.M. Q.R”
The medal has a reddish-orange enamel design topped with a crown, and in the center is an enameled shield crest.
On the ribbon is what appears to be a boar’s head. The back is marked “Sterling”.
This lodge was located in Quebec, Canada.
