  • Lovely fancy embossed leather exterior covers with gilt accenting, and fancy figural wreath latches.
  • Interior is signed: “Lizzie from Papa & Mamma Jul 10. ’65”  then noted along the side: “Died sept. 22. ’76”
  • The Album was manufactured by Samuel Bowles & Co. of Springfield, MA
  • Contains 15 Double sided pages and can hold 30 total CDV Images (or 1/6th Tintypes)
  • Does have a blank Index page
  • Measures approx. 5″ x 6″ x 1-1/2″

Description

Condition is pretty good overall, and the album displays nicely. Exterior has some mild edge wear to the leather, and the cover for the spine is missing. Latches intact and functioning, Interior pages are in good condition with some moderate discoloration and some mild edge wear to the paper…but each frame appears usable.
