  • Very Nice Antique 1/6th Plate Tintype
  • Image shows 5 Infantry soldiers in uniform, 3 standing and 2 kneeling in front. 
  • The 8 on the badge can be made out via magnification on the center man’s hat badge
  • The man far left has 3 chevrons on his sleeves, which I believe is Sergeant
  • a little altered in size, but roughly 1/6th plate.
  • Great addition to your collection!

Description

Very good overall condition. The tintype shows some light scratching and minor bending from age. Slightly Altered in size, it’s roughly a 1/6th plate size. small area of bubbling to emulsion bottom right corner.
