Wyandotte Joe Palooka Humphrey’s Mobile Tin Windup Toy 1940s Works Great No Res

$0.00

I am pleased to offer this Vintage Wyandotte Tin Wind Up Humphrey Mobile toy from the 1940s.

This great toy was taken from the Joe Palooka Comic series, and shows Joe’s Friend Humphrey pedaling around his mobile outhouse.

When wound, Humphrey “pedals” his outhouse forward, waving his arm as his hat pops up and down.  The outhouse has a rear opening door, and a plastic roof Vent.

This toy is constructed out of tin, and is colorfully decorated in litho graphics.  Wyandotte Mark is atop the roof.

Measures approx. 7-1/2″ H x 8-1/2″ Long

Description

This Humphrey Mobile is in good condition, showing average play wear for its age. Moderate scratching can be found throughout the toy, however the left side holds the most. Some light dust and dirt from age is present, along with some light oxidation to the base of the outhouse. Wind up Mechanism is strong and works great, propelling the toy in a large circle as his hat and arm move up and down.
