  • Very Cool Vintage Yoshiya “KO” Space Dog tin toy windup with it’s original box.
  • Yoshiya was a major Japanese to Maker, Post WWII (c. 1950s-1970s)
  • I have tested the toy’s mechanical windup to be in good working order. The antenna works as an on and off switch, but is a tad loose and will occasionally fall during movement and stop the dog.
  • Very light wear to the original lithograph on the dog.
  • Small paint touch ups on the underside tabs, Suggesting it has been previously opened (likely to try and replace flint)
  • When in motion, the dog “walks” forward with mouth opening and closing and ears flapping.
  • Killer Beautiful box, fresh and bright colors. Mild edge wear and
  • Sparks are not present, new flint likely needed.
  • Measures 7″ inches long.
  • Very nice display addition to your collection

Minimal wear to the original litho on the dog, displays wonderfully. On/off pull bar is slightly loose, and can fall during operation. Wind up tested and Functions smoothly when the bar doesn’t fall, very fun to watch. Needs new flint to spark. Original box is in great display shape, light edge wear and minor discoloration.
