This vintage “Wolverine Automatic Sand Loader” works great after many years, and would look fabulous on display!
The litho graphics are impressive and feature a truck and workers on the front of the sand loader, along with more workers and cranes on the sides.
It is very easy to operate, just grab the end of the bar to move the sand bucket and position it underneath the loader, pour some sand in the top and the sand spills into the bucket. Then, grab the end of the bar again to move the sand bucket, once you have it positioned where you want it, pull on the string to release the sand.
“Wolverine” logo appears on the right side along with “Wolverine Supply & Mfg Co., Pittsburgh, PA, Made in USA, Patented”.
Measures 10-3/4″ tall, base measures 8-1/4″ x 3 3/8″.

This vintage tin toy is in good condition with a minimal amount of discoloration to the litho, the color is still strong after many years. I can only find a few light scratches on this toy and a bit of light wear and discoloration on the edges, there is a small amount of discoloration on the ends of some of the metal tabs. The inside and underside of this toy are both very clean!
