Vintage Battery Operated Walking Bear

This adorable walking bear would be a great addition to your collection! He’s very cute and has a lot of character! Bear walks when you turn the switch on the “remote control”. Remote control operates with two “D” batteries. (It’s not a remote control like we use nowadays, this remote control is connected to the bear with a plastic covered wire. They actually did call these remote controls back in the day!)

Bear is in good condition with a fabric fur covered body and plastic eyes. Fur does not appear to have any stains, there is a hole in fabric on bear’s chest. Bear’s mouth and nose are a lighter fabric and show a bit of discoloration. Remnant of manufacturer’s label is still on bear’s tummy, but there is not enough to read. Remote control has been tested and bear “walks” (actually it is more like shuffling!). Remote control is tin, with light wear and is a bit dirty. Bear measures 8″ long and is 4 1/4″ tall.

Overall this is a very fun vintage collectible toy with a lot of charm!
