Awesome Vintage Champ On Ice Bear Skater Trio Tin Litho Wind Up Toy by TPS circa 1960’s.
Measures 9″ long and features three bears in their warmest winter clothing out for an ice skating adventure.
Arms and legs move in conjunction to simulate skating
Front and back skaters have wheels on their skate bottoms that move this trio along. Colorful litho throughout piece.
Marked “TPS Made In Japan” with logo on front bear.
Moderate scratching and some mild oxidation from age. Litho remains vibrant and overall displays well. Wind up tested and the toy runs well along a smooth surface for a good amount of time, occasionally the gears will lock and the toy needs a jiggle to continue (common with these motors, usually starts to happen about halfway through the wind).
