I am pleased to offer this Vintage Lithographed Tin Wind Up Wonder Locomotive Toy with Box! This great train toy is simply “Wonderful”! The toy consists of the brightly lithographed tin locomotive (marked #12720), and a small set of track. When wound up, the train will cross the track, the small bar will catch the center causing the train to turn around the end, and then it will repeat. The toy comes complete in its original box, which has an unknown Y trademark above “Made in Japan”.
This vintage wind up Wonder Locomotive is in very good working condition. There is very light scratching to the locomotive, and the litho remains vibrant. The wheels shows some paint loss and light oxidation. The tracks show some moderate scratching from previous use, and very light oxidation. The wind up is very strong, and when wound the train will quickly drive across the track, catch, and turn. Occasionally the train will derail on the turn. The original box shows some light staining and light shelf wear.
