I am pleased to offer this Vintage Late 1940s Arnold Tin Wind Up Monkey on Tricycle Toy! This hilarious little toy is constructed of brightly lithographed tin, and features a wind on the left side (key included!). When wound up, the monkey will peddle furiously and sporadically change the direction of the front wheel. The bottom is marked “D.R. Patent Ang. D.R.G.M. Patents Applied For in England, U.S.A. and France; Made in Germany U.S. Zone”.
This vintage Arnold toy is in very good working condition. The tin shows some mild scratching on the body and on the wheels from use. The lithograph remains vibrant, and very little oxidation is seen on the areas of paint wear. The wind up is strong, and they toy functions as intended.
