  • I am pleased to offer this Rare Vintage Kokyo Toys Tin Wind Up Crazy Running Squirrel Toy! 
  • This elaborate and hilarious toy features a squirrel as the center piece. 
  • The squirrel houses a wind up mechanism that powers two rubber gripping wheels that move the squirrel forwards. 
  • The rest of the toy is made up of three pieces: Two outer circle tracks and a large center wheel.
  • When wound up, the squirrel will circle one track and go into the wheel.  The wheel will spin and let the squirrel out onto the other track (then repeat). 
  • Both the squirrel and the base are marked with the Kokyu trademark & Made in Japan.  The toy also comes with a wind key.
  • Measures approx. 19″ L x 4-3/4″ W x 6-5/8″ H

Description

This vintage toy is in very good working condition, showing some very light scratching from use and display. The wind up mechanism is strong, and when wound the squirrel moves quickly. The squirrel’s tail show some loss to the felt covering.
