I am pleased to offer this Vintage 1950s Howdy Doody Acrobat Tin Wind-Up Toy by Arnold.
This awesome piece of character history depicts Howdy Doody grasping onto a rail, and when the lever is pressed down he lets loose his acrobatic spins and flips!
The tin is brightly lithod with red, white, orange, yellow, and blue lettering/trim. Howdy is in his usual blue jeans and red/white plaid shirt.
He is also sporting a fashionable blue neckerchief. Bottom of toy reads: “Made in West Germany
Int. Pat. No. 14470 Imported by Toy Novelty Associates Foreign Patents Pending”.
The Arnold Logo is also stamped on the bottom.

This toy is in good working condition, showing some moderate play wear. Howdy’s head has some small and medium cracks throughout, and his shoes have been faded from age. Tin base shows minor paint chipping and scratching throughout. Top knob missing on the plunger.
