Vintage Horikawa Japan Battery Operated Old Fashioned Car Tin Toy VG w/ Box!

I am pleased to offer this Vintage Horikawa Japan Battery Operated Old Fashioned Car Tin Toy!  This hilarious vintage to is constructed of brightly lithographed tin, and features: “Mystery Action”, Smoking engine, lighted lanterns, and “Real Engine Sounds”.  The toy is powered by 3 “D” batteries (not included).  The toy comes with its original box, marked with the Horikawa S.A trademark.

This vintage old fashioned car is in good working condition, showing some light scratching to the tin (mostly noticeable on the roof).  The rubber tires show some light wear, however they roll with ease.  The toy was tested with batteries and is functioning as intended.  The smoker produced an aroma, however there is no oil to produce smoke.  The original box shows some moderate shelf wear form age.
