Vintage c. 1950s Battery Operated U.S. Army Jeep Tin Toy TKK TS Co Japan

I am pleased to offer this Vintage c.1950s Battery Operated U.S. Army Jeep Tin Toy!  This Jeep is constructed of lithographed tin, and features an opening hood (battery compartment), light bulb headlights, folding windshield, folding seats, turnable front steering, and shifter.   The jeep is believed to be missing the original passengers, and the steering wheel is mostly gone.   The gas can on the back has the TKK trademark, and the TS trademark (Taniguchi?)  Made in Japan.

This vintage Jeep is in fair condition, showing moderate scratching throughout and mild spots of oxidation on the interior, bumpers, and in the battery compartment.  The toy was tested with 2 “D” batteries (not included) and is not currently functioning.  Sold as found.
