Vintage 1978 British Army Regiment Blues & Royals Sterling Silver Snuff Box

This great oval shaped snuff box was made to commemorate the formation of the regiment in 1969. 

The regiment was formed from the merger of The Royal Horse Guards, which was known as “The Blues” or “The Oxford Blues”, and The Royal Dragoons, which was known as “The Royals”.  

This snuff box has a detailed lid with the motto of the regiment on the bottom. 

The underside of the box is marked “925/1000 Sterling Silver  ©78”.
