I am pleased to offer this Vintage 1950s Battery Operated Tin Fire Truck by Modern Toys! This large fire truck has a brightly lithographed tin body, and is powered by 3 “D” batteries (not included). The Masudaya Modern Toys Japan trademark can be seen on the back.
This truck is missing the original firemen, but other than that appears to be complete. The toy was tested with batteries, and powered on. When on, the motor moved the truck around as is made a very loud bell noise. The front light does work, but its base needs to be re-attached to the tin.

This vintage fire truck is in fair condition. The tin shows some moderate scratching and rust from storage, and there is a dent in the hood. The toy could use a good cleaning. There is heavy oxidation in the battery compartment, but was tested to be working. See description for more details.
