Vintage 1950s Marx Tin Wind-Up Old Jalopy Toy Car Large 7″ Long Working

$0.00

I am pleased to offer this Vintage Post WWII Marx Old Jalopy Tin Wind up Car.  This hilarious car is absolutely covered in litho graphics and text, such as “Hop In” “Sub Normal” “Kilroy wasn’t Here” “No Sitting-Bull” and the “The tin you love to touch”, amongst many others.  The original driver on the front bench is present, and the fixed key wind up mechanism powers the back tin wheels.  Marked “Marx” on the front radiator grille, as well as on the roof.

This Vintage Old Jalopy is in good condition, showing some moderate scratching and some minor paint wear throughout. There are a few bent tabs on the underside. The wind-up mechanism works well, and the car looks like a real jalopy when it quickly moves forward

Measures about 7″ L x 3-5/8″ W x 4″ H
