I am pleased to offer this Vintage 1939 Walt Disney/Louis Marx Tin Windup Wise Pluto Toy!
This toy is made of brightly lithographed tin, and is everyone’s favorite dog Pluto!
The toy has a fixed wind key on the left side and when wound up Pluto will quickly move forwards while turning.
arked “©1939 Walt Disney Prod.” and has the Marx trade mark next to “Made in U.S.A.”

This Pluto toy is in good working condition, showing some moderate scratching to the tin from age. There are some larger scratches to the litho on the rear legs and some mild ones on the head. The litho remains vibrant and mostly complete, with some loss to the scratches and along the base. There is some light oxidation on the underside.The Wind Up mechanism is in strong working condition, and when wound the toy functions as intended. The tail and ears look to have been replaced.
