Vintage 1937 Campaign Tie Bar Button Pin Gold Metal

You don’t see these around too much!

This is a metal campaign medallion from 1937. Not sure if it is for a political campaign, union vote, or campaign to elect someone in a particular industry. Regardless, it must have cost A LOT to have medallions like these made, nowadays, we just have thin tin buttons!

This medallion is made from a gold colored metal and is oval-shaped. It says, “Equitable for Graham Central Mgrs Campaign Nov. 1937”. The medallion hangs by a gold colored metal chain which is connected to a tie bar. Medallion is in good condition showing some wear and discoloration, it measures 1″ wide and is 5/8″ tall. Tie bar measures 2 1/8″ wide and 1/4″ tall, it has “Giant Grip Chain Klik It Pat. Pend” stamped on the back. Length from top of tie bar to bottom of medallion (including chain in between) measures 3″.

This is a wonderful vintage campaign collectible that would be a fine addition to any collection!
