Vintage 1930s Marx Motorcycle Delivery Boy Tin Windup Toy 9.5″ Working


I am pleased to offer this Vintage 1930s Marx Speed Boy Delivery Tin Windup Toy.  Get your deliveries fast with this motorcycle delivery boy! 

The tin motorcycle has bright litho of the engine and a large bin attached to the back.  The boy is brightly lithod in blue/black/orange. 

The side of the cycle is marked “Speed Boy 4”, and the bin is marked “Speed Boy Delivery” on the front and back with the rear having the Marx trademark. 

Features a fixed wind key on the right side, and when wound the toy propels forwards slowly at first, then picks up a bit.

Great find for any Marx enthusiast!

This speed boy delivery is in good condition, showing some mild paint wear and scratching from use. You can see a moderate scratching on the boys head/body, as well as along wheel and edges of the motorcycle/cart. Some light dust and dirt from display/storage is also present. Wind up motor works well, and wheels move well too. Most tabs are unbent, except the interior cart tabs which are fairly twisted. Light oxidation is present on the underside, as well as in some areas of paint loss.
