Vintage 1930s J.Chein Bass Drummer Lithographed Tin Windup Toy Working

I am pleased to offer this Antique c. 1930s J. Chein Bass Drummer Tin Windup Toy!  This fantastic tin toy features bright lithograph blue pants with red stripe, blue shako, and red jacket.  The drummer has a fixed wind key on the left side of the body, and when wound the drummer will bang his cymbals and his bass drum! The J. Chein trademark is seen on the drummer’s back.

This antique Bass Drummer toy is in fantastic condition for its age, showing some light scratching and dust from display.  There is some light scratching near the rims of the drum, the top of the shako, and the lower back.  The wind up mechanism is in strong working condition, and when wound the toy functions as intended.  The wind key shows some light oxidation.
