Vintage 1920s High School Football Team Photo Reprint

This is a reprint of a fabulous vintage black and white photo of a football team. It looks like this team played in the 1920s, because of the design of the uniforms… but I am no expert!

What makes this photo so unique, is the looks on the faces of the players… they are so serious. Some players look like they may have had other things they’d rather be doing than posing for this photo! However, they may have been told to “look serious”.

This photo appears to have been taken to commemorate a big game. One player is holding a football with “P.H.S. 13, E.H.S. 0” written on the front. The players look to be high school age. Three of the players in the front row have a “P” on their sweaters. 

This photo is in good condition shows a lot of detail. It appears to have been mounted on a piece of poster board. Poster board shows some stains and tears and creases for a nice vintage look. Photo image measures 9 1/2″ wide x  7 1/2″ tall.

This is a wonderful photo that would look great framed and put on display!
