Vintage Wayne King Publicity Photo-Wolcott Photographer

This is a nice vintage publicity photo featuring American Musician, Song Writer and Orchestra leader, Wayne King. King was popular in the 1930s and 1940s and was known as “The Waltz King” because his most popular music involved waltzes.

This appears to be a publicity photo that was made from an original hand autographed photograph. The photo is printed on a very heavy paper that shows significant age discoloration, it is now a light brown color and has a great vintage look to it. The back of this photo is stamped “Property of M. Wolcott” on the back.

Photo is in good condition showing wear, tears and ragged edges. There is a crease across the center of the photo. Measures 11 1/2″ x 8 1/2″.
