Vintage 8×10 B&W Photo of Carnegie Tech Halfback G.Muha

$9.95

I am pleased to offer this Vintage 8×10 Black and White Photograph of George Muha, a famous halfback from the Carnegie Tech Football Team in 1939.  Carnegie Tech that year made it all the way to the Sugar Bowl, and while they ended up loosing that game, George Muha gave one of hardest running performances of Sugar Bowl History of that time.  This epic game against Texas Cristian virtually put the Sugar Bowl on the Major League Level; drawing a 50,000 large crowd to the game constituted the greatest crowd up to that point to attend a football game in the southland.

This photo of Muha is in good condition, showing a large crease down the left side.  Photo is in a decorated paper display case.

Measures 8″ W x 10″ H, display case measures 8-1/2″ W x 10-3/8″ H
