- Amazing Large Albumen Print Photograph from the 1876 International Exposition
- 9″ x 7″ Image of the Middletown Plate Co.’s Illustrious Showcase, mounted on a 10″x 8″ gilt beveled edge card, which itself is mounted on a large 12″ x 10″ back card.
- The showcase proudly displays their finest Sterling Silver and Silver-plated wares, along with Jewelry.
- Around them you can see booths of fellow Bostonian companies, leading me to believe this is in the Massachusetts Building at the Expo.
- Jacques’ Cologne, Hoyes Bros., George W. Carnes & Co., Centennial Clothing House, and Jacobs & Deane Booth signs are visible.
- Although unmarked on the currently visible areas, photograph was likely taken by The Centennial Photographic Co. as they had exclusive rights to photo the exposition.
