N.H. National Guard Early 20th Century Large Cabinet Photo 1st Regiment Band

$137.81

I am pleased to offer this Antique Large Photograph of the 1st Regiment New Hampshire National Guard Band!

The band huddles together in a large field, with the tops of some military tents in the background.

The men stand/sit proudly with their instruments and in uniform, and the bass drummer’s skin reads “F—T Regiment  Nashua, N.H.  N.H.N.G.”  (The letters or “First” are are blocked)

Rear of the card is hand signed “C.E. Lawrence, 111 Howard St., Lawrence, Mass.”

Likely the photographer and possible relation to C.W. Lawrence, photographer of Nashua, N.H. c. 1870s.  Lawrence, MA is not very far from Nashua, N.H.

Image approx. 9-5/8″ x 7-5/8″ , card approx. 14-1/8″ W x 11″ H
