MARX MAD RUSSIAN DRUMMER TIN WIND UP TOY

I am pleased to offer this 1960s vintage Marx Mechanical Mad Russian Drummer in original box windup toy. Model # J-9769.  Measures 3 by 4.5 inches tall, with built-in key, comes in box nicely illustrated on all sides. Box has two small 1/2- to 1-inch ink scribbles on left side panel. Top panel has surface paper rub where original store sticker was removed and a small tear on the bottom edge. Box is tight and clean, in Very Fine condition. Toy wears a felt suit and fur hat. vinyl head, tin drum and feet, and rubber hands and drumsticks. Drumsticks are droopy from original mold, and one is broken (see pictures). Toy works great, he rocks back and forth and plays drum. Toy is very clean. Nice example and nice box.
