LSU Opera 1949 Photo La Boheme Ralph Errolle wStudents

This is a nice vintage photo featuring star opera tenor, Ralph Errolle. Errolle was the leading tenor at the Chicago Opera and performed with many other prestigious opera groups including the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. Later in his career, he was a voice teacher at Louisiana State University.

In this photo, Errolle appears to be in a classroom studio with 6 students. Errolle is directing them as they sing. The back of the photo has a LSU Music School stamp along with the names of the students and the name of the opera “La Boheme”. It is dated 1949.

Photo is in good condition and measures 8″ x 10″. It shows light discoloration, creasing and wear for a great vintage look.

This is a wonderful vintage photo that would look great on display.
