BP Co Britannia Pottery Scotland Lusterware Cake Stand

I am pleased to offer a unique vintage cake stand featuring a lovely hand painted country scene with windmills.  This piece stands 5″ high, 9″ in diameter, and shows a lusterware fnish along the base and underside of the plate.  The plate is trimmed in gold along the edges.  Bottom marked “1023 III” with a stamp marked “B P Co Ltd, Made In Scotland, Hand Painted”.

This piece is in good condition showing a bright display.  There is a thin crack along the top surface that is hard to see due to the colorful detailing.  Also has a slightly sticky residue along the top.  The piece does show crazing throughout with a few small chips to the black band along the bottom base, but would still make a fine addition to any collection.
