Antique War of 1812 era American Navy Officer’s Dirk Knife w/ Sheath Silver


Silver mounts show mild dents and light deformation typical to such extensive age, along with expected patina and some scratching.The checkered grip shows a stress crack that was previously repaired along one side, and not repaired on the other.Blade has mottled gray patina with very light pitting, and some oxidation near the guard. The tip is slightly bent. Sheath shows moderate scratching and some small dents, as well as a hole where the belt stud likely was originally.
