I am pleased to offer this Antique 19th Century Victorian Era Atkins Brothers Sheffield Sterling Silver Table Set!
This set comes with a pepper shaker, open salt, lidded sugar, and two small spoons (the larger spoon is gold washed).
The open salt and the lidded sugar have beautiful cobalt glass inserts.
The Shaker and open salt have matching British Sheffield Sterling Hallmarks, the lidded sugar has matching hallmarks with an earlier date letter.
The larger spoon has matching hallmarks, with a date letter in between the two others. All are mid-late 1800s.
All of the hallmarked pieces have the Atkins Bros TH (Thomas Atkins) mark.
The small spoon is marked sterling, but does not have the hallmarks nor does the pattern match. I don’t believe it to be original to the set, however it does fit in nicely.
The set comes with its original box, which is most uncommon for pieces of this age.
Shaker measures approx. 3-1/4″ Tall, Salt approx. 1-3/8″ H x 2-1/8″ D, sugar approx. 2-1/2″ H x 2-1/8″ D

This antique set is in amazing condition for being well over 100 years old! The pieces show very light scratching, and very minimal tarnish (majority of the tarnish is visible on the undersides only). The cobalt glass inserts show light scratching but no cracks or chips. The original box shows some mild edge wear from storage.
