Antique US Navy CPO Machinist Paul Fox Cabinet Photo c.1900-1910 Boston

  • Great Early 1900s Cabinet Photograph
  • A Proud US Navy CPO sits for his portrait in full uniform
  • His rating is of a Machinist, and his hat has a small USN pin
  • Behind him is a slightly visible Venice painted backdrop
  • The card is marked in ink on the front “Chief Machinist (C.P.O) about 1902-3”
  • Also named “Paul Fox”
  • I was able to find a record dating to Dec. 1905 about a Paul R. Fox being warranted as a Machinist – Army and Navy Journal
  • The card is marked by a photographer of Boston, but the markings is worn enough to make the name hard to read.

Moderate foxing, soiling and edge wear on the card and image from age. Displays well.
