Antique Handwritten Forwarded Letter Gorham May 1854

I am pleased to offer this Antique Handwritten Letter Dated May 28, 1854 from Gorham (possibly Maine). Features nice cursive writing yet slightly illegible. Theme centers around a letter that was previously forward by this person on Feb. 14th 1853. Paragraphs stop and start like it’s for practice; no closing signature. Mentions the topic of officers, plus the names of a lieutenant and private. Light wear on edges with a smudge from the pen; great overall condition!
